CPM is based in London and was originally set up in 1988 under the name Carlin Recorded Music Library. As an independent label it quickly gained a reputation for the wide range of musical genres covered and high production standards that could only come from top studio recordings. The Archive Series (CAS prefix) is a fantastic collection of vintage American recordings, from the 20’s to the 60’s, have been painstakingly restored, re-mastered and re-compiled to create a superb new Archive series. This material represents the history of early American television and encompasses many genres including Hollywood glamour, Sci-Fi, Horror, Drama, Westerns, Cartoons and Newsreel.
